TRA 2016
dedicated session to ERA-NET Cofund Electric Mobility Europe
20 April 2016, Paris
The upcoming ERA-NET Cofund Electric Mobility Europe (EMEurope) was present in the 6th European Transport Research Arena (TRA 2016) with its own dedicated session.
Mr. Oliver Althoff (TUV Rheinland, Germany) moderated the session, which was built on two oral presentations and a panel session.
The first oral presentation was given by Mr. Christian Pecharda (FFG, Austria) and showed some of the results achieved by the research and development projects funded by the previous initiative, the ERA-NET Plus Electromobility+. In the second presentation, Mr. Mario Fruianu (IenM, The Netherlands) presented the structure and goals of the new project: EMEurope.
During the panel session, speakers from the European Commission, Funding Organisations and Industry representatives had the opportunity to briefly discuss the current transport situation in Europe and highlight their expectations in EMEurope and electric mobility as a whole.
The organisers received a very positive feedback from the participants, who showed great interest in taking part in Electric Mobility Europe.
